Teaching Research: Lessons and Resources

Teachers in a wide range of grade levels and academic disciplines aim to teach students how to conduct effective, reliable research.  Good research skills are both an expectation of the Common Core and an important characteristic of good citizenship.

A sample collection of resources for a lengthy research project is provided below.  Although you will need to adapt these resources for your own project and students, these documents should give you a sense of the basic skills and steps involved in a research project.
